John Glenn was born in 1921. His first time in an aircraft was in 1929. In 1932 he learned to play the trumpet. He enrolled in Muskingum college in 1939. He learned to fly in 1941. He enlisted in the military the same year. He was selected by NASA for a project in 1959. He went into space in 1962.
