Mop and Glo is not a good product to use on engineered wood flooring. This because Mop and Glo contains a wax, which can ruin the finish that is already on the floors.
MOP AND GLOW MANUFACTURER NAME: Reckitt Benckiser
I used hot water on a damp mop, worked great
Vinegar and water!!
NO! Leaves a white dull film.
Mop n Glo is a great product, I have used it for years for restoring old lamps and lighting fixtures; but that is not what you are asking.... Mop n glo will break down with ammonia, but because of the variety of original products that may have been used with you vinyl floor I would try a dilute solution in a corner or under the refrigerator or a stove. Then build up the concentration until it meets your needs. Good Luck. Douglas
Use a 50%/50% mixture of white vinegar and water. This works!
Mop n' Glo
Mop & Glo is a type of liquid wax for vinyl flooring that you might polish by mopping.
Well, After my wife decide to put Mop and Glo on our new laminate floors we found ourselves in a similar position that you are probably in. I have found that white vinegar and water does the trick just nicely. If you have the residue in the joints as well a quick wipe with the vinegar water and a toothbrush takes the cake!! As for the smell.... I hope you like vinegar!!
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe and scrub the affected areas. The vinegar will help to break down the build-up of the Mop & Glo product without damaging your laminate floors. Remember to rinse the floor with clean water afterwards to remove any remaining residue.
Mop-n-Glo. 2-4 coats should work.
