Mop & Glo is a brand of cleaning products designed for maintaining and shining hard floors, such as tile, laminate, and hardwood. It typically comes in a liquid form that can be mixed with water for mopping or used as a no-rinse cleaner to enhance the shine of floors. The product is known for leaving a protective coating that helps to resist dirt and stains while providing a glossy finish.
Vinegar and water!!
Well, After my wife decide to put Mop and Glo on our new laminate floors we found ourselves in a similar position that you are probably in. I have found that white vinegar and water does the trick just nicely. If you have the residue in the joints as well a quick wipe with the vinegar water and a toothbrush takes the cake!! As for the smell.... I hope you like vinegar!!
A floor cleaning product. Put it on the floor and mop it with a damp mop.
My suggestion is no. We just moved into a home that we are renting and we had layers of build-up. It was wax build-up from the Mop n Glow that was used to clean the floors, plus the cleaner attracted more dirt. Just layers of wax and dirt. The floor was awful. I had a professional cleaner come in and clean it for me. The guy who cleaned my floors suggested Swiffer Jet mop and cleaner which I love. He also suggested buying a neutralizer type cleaner which can be found at Lowe's or Home Depot. Dish detergent can also be used on the floors as a degreaser.
Although mopping may take a bit longer when using a steam mop, it will clean better than a regular mop. A steam mop will kill germs and dust mites when held in place for a few seconds. A regular mop does not do this.
Mop and Glo is not a good product to use on engineered wood flooring. This because Mop and Glo contains a wax, which can ruin the finish that is already on the floors.

Mop n Glo is a great product, I have used it for years for restoring old lamps and lighting fixtures; but that is not what you are asking.... Mop n glo will break down with ammonia, but because of the variety of original products that may have been used with you vinyl floor I would try a dilute solution in a corner or under the refrigerator or a stove. Then build up the concentration until it meets your needs. Good Luck. Douglas
Use a 50%/50% mixture of white vinegar and water. This works!
