The first step in becoming a registered nurse is to choose an educational program. RNs can earn a two year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
What task does RNs do on a daily basis? What task does RNs do on a daily basis?

RNs are not First Reaponders. RNs generally work on hospitals or elderly care facilities. The only time an RN would be considered a FR is if he/she is working in a EMS LifeLite helicopter with a Paramedic. Even then there kind of not FRs. A First Responder is usually a EMT, FireFighter or Police officer. First Responder training ecompasses whatever there role is. An EMT will learn medical training, a FireFighter vehicle extrication and fighting fires, a police officer crowd control, traffic control and so on. Even if RNs are working LifeLite they still need a Paramedic for intubation, crics and so on.
