The USA Space Shuttle is not capable of going to the moon.
No robotic or manned moon craft was named Explorer.
The first successful USA moon lander was called Ranger 7 and it touched down on the moon on July 28, 1964. The earlier Pioneer series of moon landers all failed to reach the moon and land. So did the first 6 Ranger craft. The USA Surveyor series of robotic spacecraft first touched down on the moon on May 30, 1966. In total, 7 Surveyor robotic spacecraft were launched toward the moon. Two failed and five were successful.
The Space Shuttle does not go to the moon. It only orbits the Earth.
No space shuttle has been to the moon and back.
Yes. Provided that you can A) rent a space shuttle (for which you will have to talk to NASA, or to various universities and musea) and B) find some means to go to the moon (for which a space shuttle is not suited).
The space shuttle is able to go to the moon by using a special type of fuel and rises up the earth atmosphere until it overcomes the force of gravity.
None. The space shuttle is not capable of going to the moon. The only manned spacecraft to go to the moon were the lunar landers of the Apollo missions, which took place before the first space shuttle was built.
It takes approximately 3 days for a space shuttle to reach the moon from Earth. This timeline includes the launch, travel time, and lunar orbit insertion.
Apollo 11
The space shuttle didn't go to the moon. But the Apollo 11 trip took four days.
The space shuttle does not travel to the moon. The Apollo missions used spacecraft, not space shuttles, to travel to the moon. It took the Apollo missions around 3 days to travel from Earth to the moon.
Use the Explorer Kit and go to the Underground and dig. Use the Explorer Kit and go to the Underground and dig. Use the Explorer Kit and go to the Underground and dig.
The space shuttle is not designed to go to the moon and has never gone to the moon; it is strictly used for travelling to and from Earth's orbit (and has mostly been used to travel to the International Space Station). If the shuttle were for some reason flown to the moon, it would crash there, since it requires an atmosphere in order to land successfully. However, if it was your intention to fly the shuttle to the moon and crash, that could be done in about 3 days, in theory. I doubt that NASA would approve the mission.
the space shuttle cant go to the moon only the Saturn v could take people there
