This is the markings on the back of a Zune media player from Microsoft. Hello from Seattle - MS is based in Seattle Model 1126 - 1126 is the model number of the hardware, 1126 seems to be the black 80gb version
No initialy you cannot setup any model of the "Zune Mp3 Player" without the "Zune Software". But after you setup the Zune INITALY you can find various hacks (depending on the model of your Zune) that will allow other software such as "Itunes" or "Windows Media Player" to be able to sync with the Zune. But i do not personaly recommend this because you cannot arrange your music properly, such as you cannot add a playlist to it.
i dunno about your zune, but mine on the back says "Hello from Seattle. Model 1125 assembled in China."
The first Zune model, now known as the "Zune 30", contained 30 GB of storage space, and 64 MB of RAM.
Probably about as much as they do ipods.. In all actuality there are roughly 20 million Zune sales including the HD. But if you include the Kin phones that come with built in zune software you come around to about 35 million.
around the beginning of September 2009
Newer Zune Updates come with Hexic, Space Battle, Sudoku, Checkers, and Texas Hold 'em. The "Related Links" go to a Forum that shows you how to create, download, and install custom Zune Games.
No, ipod games do not work on the zune, they will only work on compatible ipods. however the zune does come pre-loaded with some games, check out this link:http://www.zune.net/en-us/discover/games/default.htm
