For some historians the XIXth century period in Europe ends in 1918 when great monarchies fall down in Europe and WWI is ended. Then 20 years of the Inter War Period begun. It is short time of stabilization still immersed in the spirit of XIXth century. When WWII broke out, old period ,so called Belle Epoque, finally ended.
