I think you are missing some numbers...if you mean #7300404, then it's a 1958 tractor. If you mean #7304040, then it's a 1959 tractor. 730 Tractor Beginning Serial Numbers: 1958 7300000 1959 7303761 1960 7322075
TO-30 serial numbers 60001 thru 72679 were produced in 1951. Wally P.
Unfortunately the model number you gave it not listed any where. It looks like a serial number. The Craftsman tractor model numbers are like this example :- "CRCRA17542"
This tractor was made in 1960, the last year for its production. 730 Serial Numbers are as follows: 1958- 7300000 1959- 7303761 1960- 7322075
the serial number on my caseih tractor is JEE0107747, will that tell me what year it is?
I would take a good guess that your tractor was made in 1969. To find out 101% sure, ask your John Deere dealer.
The model and tractor number for 1938 to 1957 model B's is stamped in a pad next to the gear shift lever. It will most likely have a Bxxx with 3 or more numbers after. Then go to tractor data dot com find the year of the serial number.
A serial number is basically a record of production of whatever is serial numbered. This number is mostly used to date equipment for parts, repairs, etc. This number can be researched and some information can sometimes be found out, such as where the equipment was shipped and the original equipment installed on the equipment. In reference to so-called 'serial numbers' on John Deere pedal tractors, this is most likely just a stock number or part number for the entire pedal tractor. For example, to order a pedal tractor, it would be ordered by this stock number which is stamped on all similar pedal tractors and more than likely on the outside of the box the pedal tractor is packaged in.
