I'm searching for the same answer. On my frame it reads 'rc12a - 106948'
mine has to be one of these years - 86, 87, 88, 89 because it has a rear drum and front disc, the swingarm is the thicker, weird shaped type with the diagonal line on each side. It also has a light blue frame, but it may be a custom job. The rear spring has been painted black. It is yellow underneath.
I think it has a newer 82cc engine as it reads 'd106 - 120686' and it is dark grey in colour.
What a nice bike though, loads of new and uprated parts. Goes like a little rocket.
Any help would be nice.
Your bike's year of production is 1996.

Depending on year and condition, you can expect about 48 to 55 MPH on your Suzuki RM80.
I spoke to a dirt bike mechanic who said that two and a half turns on the air/fuel ratio screw from the closed position is a good starting point for this particular bike.
