There are buildings in Ireland that are over 5000 years old, right up to buildings currently under construction, so no one year can be said to be when Ireland's architecture was made. Georgian architecture is particularly famous in Ireland's cities, but that cannot be attributed to any one year. Georgian architecture refers to styles of buildings built in the 18th and 19th centuries, and buildings similar to those, that have been built at other times.

Yes! However, you do need to have a bachelor's degree in something. There are three different types of Master of Architecture degrees, all of which are accredited. The one you are asking about is known as the 4+3 program, meaning you have a 4-year degree in something else and a 3-year Masters of Architecture. There is also a 4+2 program for people with a 4-year BA or BS in architecture. Obviously their masters degree is two years long. There is also a 1-year masters degree for people that have an accredited 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree.

It does require a lot of persistence and hard work. Becoming an architect is a long process and many do give up before reaching licensure. However, most people with a passion for architecture and design should be able to do it. Getting your license requires and accredited degree in architecture (a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture or a 2- to 3-year Master of Architecture), an internship program that requires minimally 3 years to complete (known as IDP), and 7 exams known as the ARE. Theoretically you could finish in 8 years, but most people take much longer. It is not for the faint-at-heart, but many people find architecture a rewarding career.
