∙ 13y agoI think it was 1986 as Iremember the song that was done for Comic Relief was a cover version of Cliff Richard and the Shadows song "Living Doll" featuring Cliff Richard, Hank Marvin of the Shadows and the four anarchaic 1980's British student that were called The Young Ones (again after another Cliff Richard song), which were:
Rik Mayall who played Rick

On the American side of the pond, Bob Zmuda (also known as Andy Kaufman's co-conspirator on many things) founded a Comic Relief charity in 1986
