There are no fireworks at the Eiffel tower, except on the 14th of July - and this is to be checked first on the town's website. Contrary to popular belief, there are no fireworks on New Year's Eve (and nowhere in Paris because the town is very wary of the large groups of people gathering in these occasions). BUT the Eiffel tower is equipped with a set of special light and does sparkle for the five first minutes at every hour.
