The state of Oregon is the only state flag in the United States that has a different image on each side. The front has the state seal, the "State of Oregon," and "1859" the year of their admission to the USA. The back side shows the profile of a beaver and a tree stump. The flag is dark blue with yellow/gold images.
The design was initially made in 1910, and was adopted as the Arizona State Flag in 1917.
Alaska
Oregon became a state on the 14th of February in the year of 1859. This made Oregon the 33rd state.
Thirteen year old Benny Benson created Alaska's flag.

The current flag was approved in 1985 however the changes were the result of corrections made to the State Seal represented on the flag itself.
The current flag was made official in 1965.
The Wisconsin state flag is a background of blue with the state coat of arms. There is a sailor and a miner holding a shield. On the top is the state motto "Forward". Below it is a badger which is the state animal. It has 1848 on it which is the year that Wisconsin became a state.
Texas was made a state on December 29, 1845. This meant the flag for 1846 would have 28 stars on it.
