The indians won the battle of the Adobe Wall.
The Battle of Adobe Walls was not a typical "battle" between the U.S. military and Native Americans. Adobe Walls was a trading post and at the time of the attack, there were 28 white traders. There was not an official leader.

In the Texas Panhandle near the Canadian River with a force of 321 US Cavalry and Infantry pitted against a combined force of as many as 5,000 Kiowa, Comanche and Apache Indians.
There is no historical record of a second battle of the Adobe wall. The only battle known as the Battle of Adobe Walls took place in 1864 and was a victory for the Comanche, Kiowa, and Cheyenne warriors against the US Army.

The adobe walls kept the hacienda cool in the heat of the day.
It was important for the mission walls to be built on rocks because so the walls could be stable.
I know its ceiling is made from redwood and is in its original state. The walls are made of adobe
