In 1974 Dr. Cooper made the first cell phone for Motorola. It was for government use only and in 1984 was the first year it was sold to the public.

I have a prepaid phone. When I had a cellular plan it was for two years. I have had a cell phone plan for almost 10 years. I had one plan for a year, another for 8 years, and I am almost at a year with my newest plan with Sprint.
when at&t, sprint,verizon etc... get a new phone, us. cellular gets it 6 months to year later. i think us cellular doesnt want to pay for a phone till it comes down in cost. i have been a costumer of us cellular my self for many years and i have been asking that same question over and over.

The Nokia 6310 is an older cellular phone that was introduced around March of 2002 and discontinued in 2005. The phone was considered to have been a great phone and sold mainly as a business phone in that era.
Cellular is a decent phone company. But i reconmend T-moible. It is cheap and affordable with good family plans and nice phones that dont break down. I have been with T-moible for over a year and im loving it,
no.. :( cellular south operates on cdma technology. this i phone is a gsm device. they may come out with a cdma version in a year or 2 though :) until then all we can do is wait
