I assume you are referring to Yggdrasil. It is the world tree, and does not exist in a physical form. As for Vinland, its not a myth. The vikings discovered North America around the year 1000 CE, and they named it Vinland (Wine-land, for the berry bushes). I don't see what Lake Tahoe has to do with anything.

Leif Ericson is NOT correct! Erik the Red discovered and created a settlement on Greenland. Leif Erikson, his son, was born in Greenland, and explored and discovered Newfoundland and Vinland.
