1947
The US and Canada began using area codes in 1947.
Originally, in 1947 when area codes were first used, Minnesota had only two area codes: 612 and 218. Area code 507 was created in 1954. Area code 320 was created in 1996. Area code 651 was created in 1998, and area codes 952 and 763 were created simultaneously in 2000.
Ohio, along with the rest of the contiguous United States and most of Canada, began using area codes in 1947.Ohio originally had four area codes:216 for Cleveland and northeastern Ohio (now 216, 234, 330, and 440)419 for Toledo and northwestern Ohio (now 419 and 567)513 for Cincinnati and southwestern Ohio (now 513 and 937)614 for Columbus and southeastern Ohio (now 614 and 740)
Arizona (plus the rest of the contiguous United States and most of Canada) began using area codes in 1947. Arizona originally used area code 602 for the entire state, until the 520 area code was created in 1995.
Dallas is not a country. The telephone country code for the United States (plus Canada and some assorted islands) is +1.
The area code system for the US and Canada was introduced in 1947, so it will be 65 years old later this year.
Area code 917 was created in 1992. Originally, area code 917 was going to be only for cell phones, and all cell phones in area codes 212 and 718 (at the time, the only two area codes for New York City) were changed to 917. However, the FCC decided that "service-specific" area codes were a bad idea. Thus, there are now some cellular numbers in 212 and 718, as well as the other NYC area codes, and there are now some landline numbers in 917.
In 1947, the original area code system was implemented for the 48 United States and the 9 provinces of Canada. In 1958, area code +1 809 was assigned for a large swath of the Caribbean and nearby islands, including Jamaica. On May 1, 1997, Jamaica got its own area code, +1 876.
It varies between the states. There is a federal minimum and states can add to that.

What year did postal codes begin in canada
No. You are a runaway in all states since at 17 you are a minor. There is no difference between states.
