The A-12, direct predecessor to the SR71 Blackbird flew in 1962. In 1964, the first SR-71 flight was conducted. I can't find exact records of when the project started but, as this was the last miltary plane designed with sliderules, you can safely guess it was 4 years or more in development.
There are many different Cessna aircraft. Small personal aircraft, trainers, business jets and now passenger jets. The first was invented in 1911 by Clyde Cessna
Planes. before they could master the creation of jets they first had to find out how to stay in the air using a motor and a frame light enough to glide through the air.

There are multiple claims for inventing the jet engine from 1910-1930, but the first jet airplane to fly was in 1939.
It was invented during WW2 by 'Power Jets' ,a company led by Sir Frank Whittle to increase power and efficiency of early jet engines.
No, the jet engine had not been invented yet, so there were no "fighter jets"
rockets and jets
braylon Edwards is the WR for the jets.
Well, of course not. The first plane was invented in the early 1900's by two young men. The first jet plane though was not invented until mid 1900's. In the 1600s they used their feet to get around, or their bikes.
Invented in New Zealand by a man named Hamilton. Hence well known Hamilton jets.
When Sonny Werblin purchased the team and renamed them as the Jets (from the Titans), the uniforms were then changed to green and white. For more on the Jets, be sure to like Jets 101 and Sports Media 101 on facebook!
