There are no man-made objects on Earth that are visible in daytime from even low-Earth orbit about 120 miles up, not even the Great Wall of China. You need at least a small telescope to see any man-made features. You can see things like lakes and big rivers. For example, you could not see Hoover Dam, but you could see Lake Mead behind hit.

At night, it's a different story; city lights are clearly visible and give you at least the outline of the city and the major highways between them.
