Iron + Nitric acid ----> Iron(III) nitrate + Water + Nitrogen Dioxide
Fe + HNO3 ----> Fe(NO3)3 + H2O + NO2
NOTE: Nitrogen dioxide will come out only if the acid is concentrated. If it is dilute, Nitrogen monoxide will be produced.
Iron Oxide is Fe[2]O[3] and Nitric acid is HNO[3]
iron :)
It depends on concentrations. Normally it emits H2.
when nitric acid and iron react together Iron Nitrate is formed and hydrogen gas
Nitric acid is oxidizing acid. When it reacts with iron it forms a protective layer of iron oxide over it. So it does not react further.
Just gold and nitric acid. Gold's impervious to nitric acid.
You get iron nitrate and hydrogen gas.
Nitric acid plus zinc oxideNitricoxide
HNO3
i dont no
I think, concentrated Nitric acid (HNO3)
Coefficients of nitric acid Sodium hydroxide sodium nitrate+water
