To become fat, you must consume much more fat/energy than you require. This extra energy is stored as fat on your body. For example, my friend and I are both 14 and eat about the same amount of similar things. But, because he does much more exercise and probably eats a bit healthier, he is thinner than me. Because i eat more fat than I need to I have this extra fat stored mainly on my stomach, thighs and butt. Whilst he only has a small amount of extra fat, I have more so i am fatter
