It totally depends on where the clue scroll takes you, but in the end..
Required: Sextant, spade (not in tool-belt), watch, chart and various required items that are required for your specific clue scroll.
Recommended: Food, armor/weapons, light source, tele's, and weight reducing equipment.
Trimmed amulets can not be created by players. They are from Treasure Trails in the members part of Runescape. To start a treasure trail you need to get a clue scroll. These are dropped by almost every monster in runescape. I reccommend Jellies (78) to get level 3 clue scrolls, Guards (28) to get level 2 clue scrolls and Men and Women (3) to get level 1 clues.
Jellies or Avianes
"To get a zamorak page you must buy it from the grand exchange or you have to be lucky enough to get one from a level 3 treasure trail." I got a zamorak page 3 from a level 1 treasure trail and my cousin got a sardomin page 2 from a level one treasure trail so it doesnt have to be level 3.
Random Reward from Treasure Trail Level 3 clues ( dropped by high level monsters in members ).
There are many, many possible clue scrolls, too many to list here. See the related links for several RuneScape fansites that have full Clue Scroll/Treasure Trail guides.
No. You can only have treasure trail rewards by doing clue scrolls only. (Clue scroll is a good way to have fun and make money. And if your are lucky, you might get 3rd age armor!)
Treasure trails are not quests, but mini games, and they cannot simply be started at a certain point. To begin a treasure trail, you must first find a clue scroll that will lead you to the treasure. If you are looking for a level 1 clue scroll, then there are several easy enemies that can be killed to obtain one. Possibly the easiest, are the warriors in the Palace at Al-Kharid. Once you have one, simply follow the instructions. Harder clue scrolls can be found, and they go up to level 3. These are harder to obtain and complete.
The double agents can be found in a treasure trail clue. You need to kill them to dig up your casket.
You cannot plume helmets in runescape. But you can use a full helmet with a herald stand in your Player Owned House, and there are treasure trail rewards with different coloured plumes.
If you run away the monster will disappear ,but when you come back and do whatever the treasure trail asks you to do, the monster will reappear. So yes you can kill the monster later but it will have full life points.
Gilded armour is a reward from a level 3 treasure trail. The set can be purchased at the grand exchange for around 6 million gp. Individual pieces can also be purchased. It has the same defence bonus as rune armour.
Depending on the treasure trail(puzzle).
