That is a very difficult question to answer. Epilepsy has a wide range of causes, so there is no one thing that would cause a seizure in every person that has epilepsy. For example, you will often hear of flashing lights causing seizures. This is only for about 3% to 5% of people who have epilepsy. So for the vast majority of people who get seizures, flashing lights will not trigger one and have no effect on them. If there were flashing lights in a classroom and there was a person there who has epilepsy and their seizures were caused by flashing lights, then it is a condition in a classroom that could cause them. So it is more a case of the individual rather than the physical conditions of where they are that will determine if they have a seizure. So someone whose seizures are caused by something like stress won't be affected by physical conditions.
