It all depends what sound you are looking for, and how much money you are willing to spend. If you can afford a good tube amp, then go for it, because you are going to get much much better sound from a tube amplifier.

Is glass a conductor or insulator of electricity?

Glass in a molten state is a conductor of electricity. When glass turns to a solid state it becomes an insulator.Basically, glass in a window or a test tube would be the solid state and so it is a insulator of electricity.

No, it is not a tube amp, it is a solid state amp. - Shred til your dead

What displaced the vacuum tube in most electrical circuits?

Solid state electronics (diodes and transistors primarily)

Do you need a tube amp for your distortion pedals to sound good?

Its not needed for it to sound good but a lot of people like the sound with the tubes. I play a small solid state combo at home which has a beautiful amp overdrive and when jamming with band mates i play a larger solid state combo, and use my Sovtek Big Muff Pi and still sound brilliant on solid or tube personally, some pedals and some amps sound better together but its all of ur own choice

Is it better to make a YouTube account?

Better is a comparative. You do not state what it may be better than. It is better to make a you tube account than fling yourself off a multi story building. It is not better to make a you tube account than to raise your children properly.

What item is not a solid state component?

A vacuum tube is not a solid-state component. Unlike solid-state devices that rely on semiconductor materials to control electric current, vacuum tubes use a vacuum to allow the flow of electrons between electrodes. This technology is largely outdated and has been replaced by solid-state devices in most applications due to their smaller size, efficiency, and reliability.

Explain briefly about field effect transistor?

Think of a solid state triode vacuum tube, the mathematical model is almost identical.

What is the difference between a solid state and a electron tube device?

The main componant of a solid state device is Silicon / highly processed beach sand. A solid state device uses very low power, is small, is very reliable, and is low cost. The main componant of an electron Tube device is glass. An Electron Tube is a large, obsolete, high power usage, very expensive, fragile light bulb shaped thing that is the reason we still use the term 'a bug in the computer software' / it attracts moths and other flying insects which then stop it from working.

Whats the best method of heating fluid in a test tube is to point the flam directly at the bottom of the tube?

How much is a Baldwin Interlude fun machine worth 17700 series?

What does SS stand for in SSGuitar?

In SSGuitar, "SS" stands for "Solid State." This refers to the type of amplifier technology used, which relies on solid-state components like transistors, rather than vacuum tubes, to amplify the audio signal. Solid-state amplifiers are known for their reliability, durability, and typically more consistent sound quality compared to tube amps.
