This vehicle requires Premium Unleaded. You can try using 89 Octane and see if it pings or not. If it does then you will have to move up to 91 Octane. Do not use Regular, as it will cause pre-detonation and may do harm.
If you are on ice or if you press on the gas hard then that is normal.

No. You need the 95.
Only if the engine manufacture recommends 93 octane which is highly unlikely. Most likely the manufacture recommends 87 octane and that is what you should use. Using a higher octane is a waste of money and will provide no benefit whatsoever.
