The only thing that is runescape but isn't would be a private sever, such as moparscape

Edit by Engl1sh: Games other than Runescape that are based off of Runescape's code are actually ILLEGAL, and Jagex is in the process of finding (and suing) those companies that feel it's okay to steal code and the game itself. ALSO, many games that are based off of Runescape (private servers) have the ability to find your ip address, and can sometimes put viscious malware, spyware, or any other form of virus onto your computer without your consent. Unfortunately, many do not realize how easy it is for private server owners to just code in a bug/glitch to plant harmful stuff on your computer via their private server homepage. You risk a lot just by looking at sites that offer "private servers". My suggestion: DON'T PLAY THE FAKE.

Even though there are almost thousands of private servers its not safe dont be fooled by the person above, its your personal choice but to be honest private servers are too easy with MANY bugs. It is ILLEGAL but this type of thing is too hard to enforce. RE:Edit by Engl1sh: Actually everything I said is accurate, as in moparscape when you attempt to log on, in order to do so you use your i.p. address to actually start up the game. Many private servers also claim to be a 'JaGex produced' game, and in doing so they say "Feel free to use your same account that you use on Runescape II." You type in your password on a private server and you've lost that account. As well as 'buggy and glitchy', many private servers can IN FACT begin automatic downloads of harmful software/ viruses, especially if your security settings are low or innactive.
