There are several places to choose from. I would start with some of your local office supply stores. Staples, Office Depot are just a couple. If you don't want to try there, you can always go to Best Buy.
That's called a trackball. The device stays in place and you move the ball (usually) with your thumb, rather than moving a mouse which in turn moves the ball inside (or with the newer optical mouse, electronically senses the mouse motion).
A great place to buy a new trackball mouse in New Jersey is Cat & Mouse Computers, located at 214 Fifth Ave, Pelham, NY 10803. They offer a wide array of computer accessories, including trackball mice.
Trackball Trackball is an upside down mouse, that rotates in place within a socket. The user rolls the ball in the direction they would like to move the cursor. Trackerball... Does not comply.
I found several online stores that carry that mouse. http://trackballmouse.org seems to be the best place to get specialized mouse.
A tracker ball in integrated with a keyboard saving space the for a mouse pad. the big disadvantage is you are stuck with your hand in that position I Say bad human engineering idea. The trackerball basically saves much space.Disadvantage:
A mouse is a handheld device used to control a computer's cursor, typically featuring buttons and a scroll wheel, allowing for precise navigation and interaction with graphical user interfaces. A trackball, on the other hand, is a stationary input device that consists of a ball encased in a socket, which users rotate to move the cursor on the screen. While a mouse requires movement across a surface, a trackball remains in one place, making it beneficial for limited desk space or for users with certain mobility issues.
