Most experts will tell you to stand by the rule of 70/70. That meaning 70 degrees temp and 70% humidity. This is difficult to do considering changes in temperatures and humidity. If one has a good humidor, and the proper equipment it isn't difficult to maintain. I would suggest buying a digital humidistat,a s they are much more accurate. I also use the "crystals" in a jar to maintain humidity. They are rather fool proof.....when you buy the jar, you simply fill the jar up to a certain level, and the soft crystals absorb the liquid....once the crystals shrink down to a certain level, you know to add more distilled water. One note: Try not to let the inside temperature of your humidor get above 85 degrees or you may hatch beetle larve in the cigars....these beetles will eat holes in your cigars and ruin every stick you have in the box.....good luck and enjoy!
Ideal conditions for a humidor are 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) and 70% humidity .Keep your humidor from direct sunlight .
It is any kind of box or room with a constant humidity where you would store cigars, cigarettes, or pipe tobacco in
