Probably the least profitable way to get rid of it is to sell it for scrap or bring it to the recyclers (although if it is a real junker, this might be worth considering). Using it as a trade-in will not be the best option either, since a dealer is not going to give you a good price. Selling it yourself offers your best chance to make a profit without having to pay a middle man. Try listing it online, in classifieds, or in Car Trader magazines.
