Models from 1970 - 1978 use a NGK BUHW-2. Models from 1979 - 1985 use a NGK B9HS-10, gapped to .040 in.
The front exhaust manifold is right in front by the spark plugs. The rear manifold is behind the engine by the spark plugs.
I beleve it is stamped right on the exaust manafold.. on the drivers side
right behind the intake head, where the spark plug wires come out
For a 2000 Mazda 626, the spark plugs are located underneath the engine manifold. In order to remove these, you must first remove the spark plug wire boots by turning upward in a left to right motion. Afterward, use an insulated spark plug socket, extention and driver to remove the spark plugs are they are inches beneath the manifold. Be sure to properly gap the spark plugs, use anti-seize compound, and properly re-attach the spark plug wire boots.
Mercury is closest to Sol (our sun) and Venus is right behind it. Then there's us.
right behind the prop, on the same shaft
Should be right around 65 pounds
Whats the model number??
The serial / model number sticker on a 1997 model, 25 hp Mercury outboard is located on the starboard, (right) side of the swivel bracket.
you sure that bumber is right?
the right mix is 50:1
The 1990 model, 90 hp Evinrude outboard can use either an NGK BR7HS, or Champion L77JC4.
The 1980,s model, 75 hp Mercury outboard, requires a 50:1 ratio. This is roughly one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
It's right between the alternator fluid reservoir and the port side fallopian tubing. =)))
I am assuming you must be having more problems than just putting the lever back into neutral right. Dont worry my Mercury 9.8 is all screwed up to.
The 9.9 hp Mercury outboard requires a special flusher, and removal of the propeller is suggested for ease of installation. You can use a regular flusher if you position it just right, (the water pick-up is located underneath the anti-ventilation plate, above the prop), but I find it easier to use a barrel or waste can.
On the right side of the engine (looking from behind) there is a switch with two press-on sides (up, down) or at the throttle control (obviously inside the boat )
