You should have the codes read to see whats wrong.
First diagnos the problem(whats wrong). Did the "check engine"light come on? Failed smog inspection? "service engine soon"light driveability problems? engine pinging bad gas mileage no power/performance? Need more info. First diagnos the problem(whats wrong). Did the "check engine"light come on? You will need a engine scanner to do that. But if you did not fix the problem that made it come on then it will just come back on. You need to have engine scaned to see whats wrong.
Go to Auto Zone they will pull codes for you for FREE. It may be the O2 Sensor
If the check engine light is on, there's something wrong with the engine. Or, the computer is bad. One or the other. They don't set a light for no reason.
You need a OBD2 sensor if the Isuzu is 1996 or above and OBD1 sensor if it under 1996. They typically cost between 50-100 dollars. You plug it into your OBD female end and check whats wrong with your codes and then trip your Check Engine Light. That's the only way. Or pay a shop $75 bucks to do it, and they'll tell you exactly whats wrong with it.
Yes, it can turn the light on for the wrong oil.
the check engine light means you have something wrong with your emissions. it might be the two sensers on the exhaust pipe.
If the check engine lights are on, that means that there is something wrong. A mechanic can check and tell what is wrong with the car.
When the check engine light comes on, it's a good indication that something is wrong with your engine.
