Brambleclaw kills his half-brother, Hawkfrost, in self-defense during a battle. Hawkfrost had betrayed ThunderClan and threatened Brambleclaw's life, forcing Brambleclaw to kill him to protect himself and his clanmates.

I know that Brambleclaw will not become leader but, maybe he'll stay deputy. ----------------------------- He does not, because he is not deputy. He was formerly deputy until he was captured by Twolegs and was away from the forest for so long that he was deemed unfit to be deputy because he was not aware of current events.

Yes but only temporarily. She later then became Sharpclaw's apprentice in Firestar's Quest. Its not the Cherrykit in Thunderclan who people might think will become Cherrytail and Firestar's apprentice but the kittypet who joins Skyclan who is know as Cherrytail in Skyclan's Destiny. Her brother is Sparrowpelt who was know as Boris as a kittypet.
