When Henri Matisse turned blind, he created 'cut-outs'. He used assistants to cut large pieces of coloured materials for him before sticking them on walls to make collages.

Addition:

When Matisse started making cut-outs he was bedridden after an operation, not blind. And the cut-outs were not stuck on walls but on paper.
