No, your account will simply be suspended until you add additional game play time to your account.
World of Warcraft trial accounts do use the Cataclysm maps but you would not be able to access them as you can only level up to level 20 in the trial version.

There is a 10 day free trial but you can only go up to level 20.

Your WoW files are never deleted unless your computers crash, or the world ends, etc. Your free trial account stays inactive until you pay to play it.
Officially, you will need to purchase Cataclysm in order to learn the ability to fly in Kalimdor and Azeroth. However, there seemes to be a loophole that if you try the Cataclysm trial and learn this ability, it will stay learned even if you do not buy Cataclysm itself. This of course is in itself a bug, and any abuse of it may be punished or reverted by Blizzard - if it hasn't been already.
You can get a Trial version of WoW, which will allow you to play the revamped "old world" just as it is during Cataclysm. However, you will not be able to level very far or reach any of the content for which you need the expansion packs.

No, when your 10 day trial is over, your 'account' will be deleted and you will have to buy the full version. Currently there is no way to get your trial account back and continue playing on it, even if you have the full game.
What do you mean by 60 days or more?.... Is it going to be out for 60 days or longer? yes. It's going to be out for a really long time. ANOTHER VIEW: If you mean the Cataclysm Trial, then it is only a 10 day trial. After that time, you must upgrade the account.
