The gospels don't specifically mention that the people of the city "yelled" in connection with the incident.
Matthew 8:34 says that "they begged Him to depart from their region."
Mark's gospel says that the people were "afraid" (Mark 5:15) and that they "began to plead with Him to depart from their region" (v.17).
Luke's account also says they were "afraid" (Luke 8:35) and that "the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear" (v.37).
