Certain primates families and groups have been around for longer than others, and some have come and gone, but there have been mammalia concidered in the order primate for millions of years with such evidence as fosils found in the eocene period (35 million years ago)- adapidae for example. Primate groups such as adapidea are no longer living of course. So you must propose a clear question to get a clear answer.
