Does mass remain the same when matter contracts?

Mass is the quantity of matter. Even though matter contracts the mass remains constant.

Which physical quantity remains constant when the state is changed?

The melting point and boiling point remain constant when the physical state is changed.

Is it possible that there is a non-zero acceleration but with a speed of value zero?

Not with any sensible definition of "acceleration" and "velocity." You CAN accelerate an object and have it end up at zero velocity. But, if the acceleration remains a non-zero number, then the velocity can NOT remain at zero. Your question is like asking, "Can the value of a quantity change, but also remain the same?"

Which physical quantity remain unchanged when light and sound passes through medium?

Its FREQUENCY remains the same. Remember that when sound waves travel from air to water, its frequency remains the same, which is why people do not seem to have higher or lower voices under water. However the amplitude and velocity do change if it is a sound wave.

For uniform circular motion the quantity that does not remain constant is?

this my sound rather daft but this is a bit of a trick question, the speed is the same so straight away you would think the acceleration is constant right....???? Wrong the displacement of the object is changing (displacement is the distance being travelled with a direction, a vector quantity.) as the displacement is changing so is the velocity, as velocity is displacement/time. as the velocity is changing so is the acceleration because acceleration is then change in velocity divided by time.

What is the relation between Dipole moment and Dielectric constant?

The dielectric constant is the ratio of the permittivity of a substance to the permittivity of free space. It is an expression of the extent to which a material concentrates electric flux, and is the electrical equivalent of relative magnetic permeability. As the dielectric constant increases, the electric flux density increases, if all other factors remain unchanged. This enables objects of a given size, such as sets of metal plates, to hold their electric charge for long periods of time, and/or to hold large quantities of charge. Materials with high dielectric constants are useful in the manufacture of high-value capacitors.

Equilibrium price and quantity will remain the same as long as?

there is no demand and supply

Do the continental plates remain in one place?

No, both the continental and oceanic plates are always moving. Moving slowly, but always moving.

Why do sodium ions and chloride ions remain dissociated in the blood?

Blood has a sufficiently high proportion of water to have a large enough dielectric constant to promote the dissociation of the ions.

What are underlying assumptions in break even point analysys?

1- quantity of units produced = quantity of unit sold , so there is no change in invetory . 2- prices will remain fixed. 3- variable cost rate will remain fixed 4- total fixed costs will remain fixed up to maximum manufacuring capacity of the firm

What happens when theres an increase in demand and a decress in supply?

An increase in price occures, and quantity will remain unchanged.

Do you leave Tampa Florida plates and registration papers on a car that will be repossessed?

Fl law says plates remain with the debtor so, inventory them with PP and wait on the debtor to come get them.

Why one more negative plate than positive in lead acid battery?

The number of negative plates in a cell is always more than one of number of positive plates so that end plates at both sides of the group remain negative.

Why would someone use L plates?

L plates are used while a driver is still in the learning process of driving a car. The L plates remain until the driver in question has passed both their theory and practical driving tests, at which point the L plates are replaced with P plates. The P plate is a temporary measure signifying the driver is newly qualified.

What is stet?

Stet means to let it stand and is a standard proofreading mark. When stet is inserted in a document, the selected text must remain part of that document.
