Work is done when force causes an object to move and capacity of doing work is called energy So, energy is required and consumed when force causes an object to move
You have to push or pull to put force on an object to move and you have to move and object in a distance to workthe defference of work and force.a force is you have to balance the speed and the slow and high force of youre hands and muscle to have the force.and the work.a work is to have the motion of youre body like changing position and direction.
Positive work is work done in the direction of motion, while negative work is work done in the opposite direction from the motion.opposite
Force is anything that can do work. W=fd.. It is the ratio of what has been done and how far it goes. :)
If a force is applied, but nothing in the system moves, no work has been done. Work is only done when something moves.

Any force can produce work if it causes displacement. If displacement is in opposite direction of force, work done will be negative and if displacement is in direction of force work done will be positive. If there is no displacement, work done is zero. Eg: Gravitational force pulls you down towards earth, in pulling you down it does work on you which gets stored in form of potential energy. Energy for A+

Is done when a force exerted on an object causes that object to move some distance; equals to force times distance; measured in joules (j)

"Work" - in the mathematical sense - has been done; i.e. transfer of energy.
Work can be defined as the vissible change of something or someone so the work happens when you can detect or measure the change you are trying to provoke. Is necessary the application of a force to make the change.Mechanical work causes movement,Chemical work causes reactions and psychological work causes improvement in people´s behavior
Usualy because they are idiots that think they understand more then they do, Been there, done that.
If a force is applied, but nothing in the system moves, no work has been done. Work is only done when something moves.
A person pushing a box across a floor:· Mass of box = 20 KG, Weight of Box = 196.2· Distance moved in the direction of the force = 2m· Work Done = Force X Distance ( in the direction of the force), 196.2 X 2= 392.4 Joules
When the point of the application of the force gets displaced then work is said to be done by the force. Hence whether already the body was at rest or in motion and as the force is applied on the body and the point of application of the force is found to get displaced then certainly some energy would have been utilized to change the state of rest or of uniform motion and so work is done.
