if you have checked your hamster to make sure that it is alive and not hurt it most likely means it went into hibernation. when hamsters feel it is too cold they go into hibernation just like other wild mammals do. make sure that if it is winter keep your house at a good temperature to keep your hamster happy!
it probably means its sleeping hamsters are nocturnal that it wants to be left alone. I say this based on my hamster
It means that your hamster wants to have a comfy bed for when they want to go to sleep.
it is natural for hamsters to hide in their nest (especially when young) but if it never comes out or doesnt eat you might need to get it out to check it is okay. if it is not tame you need to make sure you get it out more to tame! hope i helped!
NEVER ever do that! The mother will get freaked out and stress for her babies' safety

You should NEVER touch a bird's nest, because the nest has bird scent all over it and if a human hand or human scent comes in contact with it, the birds will sense that and never return to the nest even if the eggs or babies are in it.
It's perfectly fine to throw away the nest; your hamster will build a new one!
a baby hamster comes out of it. how else could you tell?they dieThats rude!!!! You can tell if the mom hamster is fater everyday and she starts making a nest!they don't die they make a nest, eat more, and sleep alot. Then when the baby comes out she kills the father just like many species of bugs. :)
a golden hamster nests in its bedding and its bedding is like hay
they should be all fine, and the mum is just being a mum.
When they look fatter then usual?Your hamster starts making a nest. They also get fatter.
if you have a hamster and its pregnant it will make a nest.if a hamster has 12 babies it will die if less its ok.
your female hamster will get aggressive, start hoarding food , and making a circular nest in the corner of your cage.
No, my hamsters do not, but if you notice that when you take the food out of the nest, if it bites, scratches etc., it may be angry. However, even if it does anger the hamster, you must remove it, or it will go mouldy, and the hamster will eat it, possibly making it ill.
