because it is a physical change because if you leave the ice to melt and you but it( the liquid) in the fridge/freezer it will turn solid again this process reapeats itself,it goes again and again

Why when ice melts can you tell its not a chemical change?

The chemical structure is unchanged.

When ice melts you can tell it is a chemical change because?

The melting of ice is a physical not, not a chemical change. You can tell this because the chemical composition of ice and water are exactly the same, i.e. they are both H2O. Only the physical property has changed since one is a solid and one is a liquid.

When ice melts you can tell it is not a a chemical reaction because?

The process will reverse if you lower the temperature again.

How can you tell there is a chemical reaction when iron rusts?

When a kettle is boiled you can tell it is NOT chemical change because?

the change is easily reversed so it is a physical change not a chemical change

Why is melting of ice cream a physical change?

Chemical Change!Because when chocolate start out as just chocolate but when it melts it becomes a chemical because its just something to drink like water,Water is a chemical beause its just something to drink, but you don't actuly drink chocolate,it just becomes a chemical because it melts in to a liquid and all liquids are just becomes a solid,so Chocolate is a chemical when it melts because its just like water but chocolate isn't water its just like water because it melts into a chemical!

How can you tell at baking a cake produces a physical change?

Baking is a chemical change because involve chemical reactions.

Is wax melting chemical or physical change?

This is a physical change, not a chemical change! It is because all the wax is still all there as for if it was a chemical change it would be all gone!Physical. Its physical state changed from solid to liquid. It's chemical make up remains the same.Melting wax is a chemical change because a new substance is forming. Trust me im intelligent and we just learned this in science.physical change :)It is a chemical change because it gives off heat even when it is burning. heat is one of the signs that tell whether it is physical or chemical change. The signs are heat , light's ,gas, discolor.Melting was would be a physical change-- no chemical reaction occurs when something melts or boils. A burning candle is a chemical change, both can occur at the same time.

How is letting a copper kettle tarnish a chemical change?

It is a chemical change because when copper tarnishes, it combines with oxygen to become a new substance. You can also tell because of the change of color, a sign of chemical change.

When gas burns you can tell its a chemical change because?

it is a completely new object.
