As temperature decreases, the density of air will increase. There is an inverse relationship between temperature and density. Cooler temperatures allow atoms and molecules of the gases in air to "pack more closely" and take up less space. As more material is taking up a given volume, the density of the material, the air in this case, increases. Scroll down to related links and look at "Density of air - Wikipedia". See: Importance of temperature.

You would need to specify the substance as not all of them behave the same way. Most substances contract when cooled so they become more dense. They can also change differently over different temperature ranges. Water for instance decreases in density when cooled from 4 degrees C to zero, and becomes much less dense when it freezes.

The density increase until the maximal density at 4 0C - 0,999 972 0 g/cm3. Down this temperature the density decrease; it is a rare and strange phenomenon.

Density will decrease. When a quantity of air is heated, it expands giving it a larger volume. It will still have the same mass, so the density will be lower.

If pressure remains constant, then volume is directly proportional to temperature. Hot air is quite loud.

What happened to the mass of an object when it is cooled?

Nothing happens to the mass when its cooled (or heated).Mass is the same (law of Conservation of Mass).Volume can change, though, which affects density (since mass is constant).

What happens to air pressure when air is cooled?

When air is cooled the molecules move more slowly and they take up less room. The amount of space the air takes up shrinks which reduces the air pressure.
