Alcohol does not provide essential minerals or protein, and while it does supply calories, these are often referred to as "empty calories" because they lack nutritional value. The body primarily metabolizes alcohol for energy, but excessive consumption can lead to nutrient deficiencies and health issues. Therefore, while alcohol contributes calories, it is not a beneficial source of nutrition.
Alcohol in moderation doesnt do much besides get you feeling good. Too much alcohol puts stress on the heart to work harder to supply oxygen to the system and it constricts the way the oxygen is supplied.

Alcohol can harm the developing fetus, leading to birth defects, developmental issues, and lifelong health problems. Smoking cigarettes during pregnancy can restrict oxygen supply to the baby, increase the risk of preterm birth, low birth weight, and developmental issues. Both alcohol and cigarettes can have serious and lasting negative effects on the health and well-being of the unborn child.
In Shay's rebellion, he went around with an 'army' of people and burned houses. This proved the government needed more financial power, because they couldn't afford to fix the houses and supply guns to the soldiers.
