Extinct (Extinction)
Extinction is when a animal doesn't exist any more, because all of its species has died out completely. It Can Also Be When Only A Few Animals Live But Most Are Dead Just Like A Mammoth is dead.
EXTINCT
A species is called the "living dead" when it has dropped to few enough individuals such that there is not enough genetic diversity to build up the population again. For example if there was 1 organism of a species left on earth it would be called the living dead because there is no way for its species to reproduce and live on with a full, genetically diverse, healthy population. A species isn't called the living dead only if it reaches 1 individual, it could be 40, 25, etc. individuals. Extinct means that there are no longer alive and completely dead, the whole species is dead and are no longer on earth alive. But threatened means that they are on the edge of being completely dead.
Extinct is when an animal or plant doesn't exist any longer on earth.
All the members of one species in a region are called a population.
The disappearance of all organisms of a specific species would be called extinction. This event can have significant ecological impacts on the ecosystem that the species once inhabited.
It is called the biota of the area.

The death of every member of a species is called extinction. When a large number of different species is dies out at the same time it is called mass extinction.
Members of a single species found in an area are called a population.
