Wind In the Willows is essentially an animal cartoon ( akin to Bugs Bunny) that is written in the form of a novel. It appears to be set in England around l905 or l906 when it was written, as judged by period props- automobiles of that period. the thing really doesnt have much plot, but is a jumble of stories about a sort of social club of gentlemen of leisure- who have not straight jobs to tie them down. Toad is more or less the Head Man. It always struck me there was something Homosexual about the whole things- no female characters of note. This also applies to Winnie the pooh, with the exception of Kanga and Roo, her child kangaroo wallaby.
