Science- The Earth was created around 4.55 billion years ago from the extra debris circling our newly created Sun. Slowly the smaller pieces clumped together to form the planets, Earth being one of them.
Religion- The Earth was created by a god and is about 6000 years old. (Many religious groups no longer espouse any specific age for the Earth.)
Genesis
According to the first two verses of Genesis 1:1 "God created the heavens (plural, The Bible speaks of three heavens) and the Earth" (verse 1). Then, something happened that caused the Earth to come to ruin (verse 2).
It's not revealed how long ago the heavens and the Earth were created... nor is it revealed how much time elapsed between the creation and the Earth's ruination. Any guess at the amount of time for either event is as good as the next guess.
In verse 3 of Genesis 1, however, the Bible reveals that Jesus Christ, the Almighty Creator God of the Old Testament (John 1:3 & 10 and Heb.1:2), RE-created the Earth and prepared it to sustain man.
This "first" RE-creation of the earth took place somewhere between 5000 and 6000 years ago. A "second" re-creation of the earth is prophesied to occur after Judgment Day.
