You don't apply for a CDL. You test for it, and you either pass or you fail. Your past driving record doesn't matter in this regard, so long as you've held a valid drivers license in your state of residence for at least 30 days. Finding employment... it's much more relevant then. With multiple DUIs, your prospects become much more slim. And if you don't have at least seven years between your last DUI conviction and the present, you're probably better off finding something else to do.
