The bullet train was invented by Hideo Shima. First Bullet Train runs between Osaka and Tokyo (Japan) in 1964.
They were invented all the way back to 1930
Bullet trains are found in Uranus
"Bullet trains" are just electric trains.
Bullet trains are conventional electric trains, named bullet trains due to their streamlining. They use conventional railroad tracks and electric catenary systems, but built and maintained to very tight tolerances.
Bullet trains operation in a wide range of countries around the world. China, Japan, America, France, and Germany are the main countries the have bullet trains in operation. China held the record for having the fastest commercial bullet train with a train going 350 km/h (217 mph) till July 1, 2011. Due to safety concerns and cost the max speed of a bullet train in China is only 300km/h now. China also, has the largest network of bullet train rails. Bullet trains usage is growing and new countries are getting them putting in.

'Bullet Train' is not the proper name for these trains. It is a named invented by the English language media for the Japanese 'Shinkansen' high speed trains when they were first introduced. The probably invented the name because they thought 'Shinkansen' was too complicated a word for their readers.Other countries have since built High Speed Lines and High Speed Trains, and the speeds have increased. For example TGV (France), ICE (Germany) etc.because of its high speed and its shape - the original bullet train in Japan had a bullet-shaped pointed nose iirc

Yes, bullet trains have wheels. They run on rails, just as conventional railroad locomotives and cars do. The trains that operate by magnetic levitation, the so-called MagLev trains, do not have wheels as they ride on a magnetic cushion.
