1. Fajr (Dawn) prayer: The times starts with the break of dawn and ends with the rise of the sun (day-break)

2. Zuhr prayer (after noon) The time starts with the decline of the sun towards west (about one hour after 12:00 noon) and ends when the shadows grow twice the size of the original things.

3. Asr Prayer: The time starts soon after Zuhr prayer and ends just before sunset.

4. Evening prayer: Time starts soon after sunset and ends after one hour and twenty minutes.

5. Isha or Night prayer; Time starts 1-hour and 20 minutes after sunset and ends at mid-night. In case of some special problem Isha prayer may be offered before Dawn.

Note: Ahl-i-sunnat wal jama't generally offer the prayers in the middle of the given time. Ahl-i-Hath generally offer the prayers in the beginning of the time. However, there is no strict difference between the two.
