The Muslims must pray to Almighty Allah (god) five times a day. The timings are:
1. Fajr or Morning prayer: time starts from about 1;30 HRS before sunrise. Ends at sunrise.
2. Zohar; 12:30 noon to 2:45 afternoon.
3. Asr: starts about 2 hours before sunset and ends a few minutes before sunset.
4. Maghrib or Evening Prayer: Starts Just after sunset and ends after 1;20 minutes after sunset
5. Isha or Night Prayer: Times starts just at the end of Maghrib prayer and can be offered till 2:30 hrs before sunrise.
1. Fajr (Dawn) prayer: The times starts with the break of dawn and ends with the rise of the sun (day-break)
2. Zuhr prayer (after noon) The time starts with the decline of the sun towards west (about one hour after 12:00 noon) and ends when the shadows grow twice the size of the original things.
3. Asr Prayer: The time starts soon after Zuhr prayer and ends just before sunset.
4. Evening prayer: Time starts soon after sunset and ends after one hour and twenty minutes.
5. Isha or Night prayer; Time starts 1-hour and 20 minutes after sunset and ends at mid-night. In case of some special problem Isha prayer may be offered before Dawn.
Note: Ahl-i-sunnat wal jama't generally offer the prayers in the middle of the given time. Ahl-i-Hath generally offer the prayers in the beginning of the time. However, there is no strict difference between the two.
