Watch the mother dog when you go near the pups. She will let you know by the way she acts when it suits her for you to touch them. If she gets agitated or appears upset at all, it's too early...don't touch them yet or she might reject them.
That depends on the mother and your relationship with her, I would wait until their eyes are open and only do it when the mom is present so you can tell if she wants you to back off.
one day
You can touch the newborn puppies with your bare hands. It's not healthy for the puppies though even if the mother allows it.
They are extremely toxic, do not touch them until 23 1/8 weeks.
By the time they are 4 weeks old, the newborn puppies are usually old enough to be smothered.
The newborn puppies should be nursing from their mother, they get all the liquid they need from her the first two or three weeks.
Yes. Newborn puppies are born deaf and blind so they use their noses to "see" their new world.
3-6weeks
no
Newborn rottweiler puppies are at risk of problems common to most newborn animals, including being taken away from the mother too early, which, if the puppies are not hand-raised, can lead to death. Other problems include birth defects, infection and injury. Newborn puppies must always be kept in a safe environment, as they are born blind.
You can but you should be careful, the mother will be very protective until they are six weeks old. If you touch puppies before then the mother may not feed them and then the puppies will die. And if you want them to stay alive please don't touch them and then you don't have to worry about the puppies dying. You can handle newborns if the mother isn't feeding them it doesn't mean they will die you can bottle feed them
Probably about 80%.
