Sytem show available wireless network and select ant network and enter pin
Use the wireless adapter properties to locate your wireless network ("List of available networks"), then double click on your network, enter the phrase if you have to, and you are ready to roll.
Press Settings, then General -> Network -> Wifi. Select the wireless hub by name, and enter the wireless password (if there is any).
Right click on the wireless adapter choose "View available wireless networks". After that just double click on the network which you want to connect to. If you want to connect to a secure network you have to know the security key which you have to enter before you will be able to use the secure wireless network.
Don't cheat!
The SSID is the identifying 'name' of a wireless network. The PSP can connect to wireless networks, you can set it to scan for one, or if you already know the name, enter it manually.Obviously the SSID will be different for every PSP, but the SSID itself is a property of the wireless network, not the PSP itself, you're just entering it into the PSP so it can recognise and access that network.
An SSID is the 'name' for a wireless access point. There's no 'button' for it, but you might mean the option to scan for wireless access points, this is done on the network settings while configuring a network connection on the PSP.
Strangers won't see your wireless network, making it more difficult to hack. The downside is that when you want to add new devices, they won't be able to see it automtically either. You will need to manually enter the network ID.
you have to go into network settings and press configure or something until you get to a place that says search for network. It will then search for any wireless networks. Some networks are secured and some might not be. You have to enter the code that is on the computer to unsecure the network. I have a wireless adapter, but I'm stealing someone's wireless internet ;D you have to go into network settings and press configure or something until you get to a place that says search for network. It is the same code you use to access your wireless router. Just enter the SSID and WPA key into the DSi and it will be able to connect to your wireless network.
Information on how to secure a wireless network can be found online on various sites including Microsoft, Lenovo and GeekSquad. Other sites providing this information are Kaspersky Lab, HowStuffWorks and WikiHow.
If your friend has a wireless network already set up, then yes (if using Windows XP or Vista) your computer will automatically connect to his network. If his network is protected then he will have to give you the password to enter.
